Capcom brings to the market a new edition of one of its key titles for the past season, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. Colonies is just the same title a year ago, but with a series of expansions and is shipped at a reduced price, so it's a good opportunity for those who are lost in time.
I will concentrate on the added value that is included, and if it is a sufficient incentive for those who were not encouraged to buy for the first time.
To begin with the new single player content, the campaign has been revamped with more game modes. The first one requires to achieve the highest possible score on a stage. Every enemy or destructible object has a number of points associated, depending on how hard it is to destroy, but also takes into account the way they give us a defeat for additional extra.
Then a training option, though more could be considered a challenge, consisting of a series of confrontations with the various heads that we end throughout the game. A good way to recall old rivals once again and plunge into the snow, but with a major difficulty.
Finally, we have perhaps more to the delight of the experienced players, called an unlimited way - in which the weapons have infinite ammo and everything in general moves faster, so it's harder on the one hand but on the other is frantically fun.
The multiplayer modes were improved as well, now you can control the akrid (those ugly monster that are always willing to kill you during the solo campaign) plus the ability to use other game characters with other capcom popular characters like megaman and dead rising protagonist. more
